About Bongo’s mom (the writer)
Michelle Preen is, amongst other things, a South African writer. She lives at the southernmost tip of Africa in a coastal village not far from Cape Town, with her husband and daughter. She is a university graduate who works in the field of environmental communications. Michelle has had numerous short stories published in anthologies and magazines, both in Africa and beyond. She has also written and published a couple of children’s storybooks. Michelle cannot live without tea, chocolate, nature and dogs.
